EVERYTHING YOU WANTED TO KNOW ABOUT SOCIAL MEDIA (BUT WERE AFRAID TO ASK)
K+R launches a hands-on guide to social media for corporate communicators

Kinross + Render has published a practical ‘how to’ guide to using social media to counter misconceptions that it is a black art requiring technical expertise.

‘Integrating Social Media in Communications’ is a comprehensive handbook which looks at all aspects of social media -   from monitoring what is being said about your brand, to conversing effectively with specific audiences using a mix of the latest tools, and measuring the success of social media campaigns.

“Many communications professionals have been led to believe that social media is only for the technically proficient and therefore best left to digital agencies”, says K+R social media specialist Janine Maxwell.    “Our guide is designed to dispel this myth and show that experienced public relations professionals are well placed to run social media programmes for themselves.  The key to success is being a good communicator; you only need minimal technical know-how and out-lay.”

The guide costs £480 plus VAT for marketing agencies, which includes regular updates, and is free to in-house communications professionals.  For a copy contact Clare Baxter cb@kinrossrender.com or Jack Miall jack@kinrossrender.com or telephone 020 7592 3100.
